Benson Holland is the general manager of Forest Rise Chalets and Lodge.
Benson is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, where he received a BA in Environmental Management and Tourism Development.
After graduating, Benson moved to Sydney to work with the University of New South Wales as part of a marine research study focussed in Broome, Western Australia.
On completion of this project, he travelled to far north Queensland to take on a position at the prestigious Lizard Island Resort. Here, he developed a passion for hotelling, specifically around accommodation management. Travelling throughout the world for several years, Benson worked in number of different roles and in some incredible hotels (such as the Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff).
Benson returned to Australia and took a role with Fortescue Metal Group. This was a varied and dynamic role; as part of the infrastructure services flights and accommodation management team. After 5 years, it was time to return to Margaret River and take on a management position at Forest Rise Chalets and Lodge, where he strives to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
"We all work so hard these days... so when it's time to have a break it's critical that everything is taken care of. It's the small things that make a difference. We deserve to have all the little things accounted for. My aim is to ensure all guests have a relaxing, stress free stay."
