The Voyager Restaurant offers seasonal 7 course and 4 course Discovery menus that match the perfect wine with a creation of select foods picked daily in their own kitchen garden and purchased from local farms and fisheries. Although the menus are created daily, the delectable offering change with the seasons. Special menus are available for vegetarians and for minors.

If you are on a weekend holiday and want to experience the elegance of a ritual High Tea, you are in luck. The Voyager Restaurant offers their version of the traditional High Tea on Saturdays and Sundays only. Because their venue is based on the number of bookings received, you’ll need to make a reservation at least one day in advance. This memorable experience is a definite dining adventure not to be missed.

The adventure continues once you are at Voyager Estate whether you arrive early or take the time after you dine. Leisurely stroll through the amazing gardens, breathe in the aromatic essence of the rose bushes, and enjoy the manicured rows of beautiful vines. Enjoy a wine tasting experience and take advantage of their vast cellar door selections to take away your new favorite wine to share with family and friends.

Where is it Located?

The Voyager Estate and Restaurant is a short distance drive from the Margaret River Visitors Center in the heart of Margaret River. If you are staying at Forest Rise, driving to the restaurant is your best option. However, if you are staying in the central visitors’ area of Margaret River and hiking or biking is your sport, the restaurant is a mere 7.1 km from the Visitors Center.

Operating Hours

Voyager EstateThe Voyager Restaurant is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and Good Friday are the three days of the year that the restaurant is closed to the public. There is ample parking for private vehicles and the restaurant is disability accessible for those who need it.

Reservations are required for this highly popular establishment. Restaurant seating is available daily beginning at 11:30 AM. The 7 course menu is $120 without wine pairing and $180 with wine pairing. The 4 course menu is $90 without wine pairing, but wine can be selected from an extensive wine list. The very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff will be delighted to help you with your wine selections. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for minors and those who are the designated drivers.

The High Tea service requires a prior 24 hour reservation and seating is available at 10:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday only. The Voyager accepts cash and credit cards. Getting There

The restaurant is easily accessible from State Route 10/ Bussell Highway, and it is located on Stevens Road in the heart of Margaret River.

Driving Directions from Forest Rise Resort, 231 Yelverton Road WA 6280

Follow Yelverton Road to State Route 10/ Bussell Highway. Stay Bussell Highway for 26.8 km, then follow on Boodjidup Road for 5.8 km to Stevens Road in Redgate where you will enter the Voyager Estate. The total distance is 35.4 km and the driving time is approximately 31 minutes.

Driving Directions from Margaret River Visitor Center, 100 Bussell Highway WA 6285

Head south on State Route 10/Bussell Highway in the direction of Fearn Avenue. Take the third exit on the roundabout onto Boodjidup Road. In 270 m turn left onto Gnarawary Road, then turn right in 900 m onto Stevens Road to the entrance to the Voyager Estate. The total distance is 7.1 km and the driving time is approximately 8 minutes.
