The Colonial Brewing Company is ideally located in an environment that shouts country life and touts a back-to-nature beauty that captures the hearts of all who visit. It is surrounded by lush rural farmlands and exquisite vineyards, and it’s housed at the edge of the Bramley National Park. The region’s comfortable, year round weather is perfectly suited for outings to the nearby beaches and walking trails before, or after, your visit to the brewery. A day spent in and around the Colonial Brewing Company is like a mini holiday. The brewery is family friendly with a dedicated play area where children enjoy the outdoors while the adults can watch the fun and enjoy the scenic landscape while relaxing with a handcrafted beer on the restaurant’s expansive open air veranda. It is easy to understand why visitors love this place and return as often as they can.
At the time that Ross Smith opened the doors of the Colonial Brewing Company in 2004, there were only three breweries in the Margaret River area. Since that time the market has expanded, but the Colonial Brewing Company remains one of the region’s most popular locations. Today, the brewery is owned by the Colonial Leisure Group and they maintain the establishment’s outstanding production of award winning, handcrafted beers that are the favourites of both locals and tourists.
