Brendan is a local celebrity, being born in Perth, and comes to Vasse Felix with an established list of culinary accomplishments that include being a 2013 judge on the MasterChef Australia television program. As a food connoisseur, he has enhanced upon Vasse Felix’s modern Australian cuisine style by highlighting local produce, seafood, poultry, and meats presented with a European flair for creating delectable dishes that look more like fine art, while satisfying even the most discriminating palates.

There is one price for the 5 course main menu with an additional charge for wine matching, petit fours, and cheeses. There is an ala carte menu for lunches and for the wine lounge. The friendly, professional, wait staff are readily available to answer any questions about the ingredients used in the preparation of the various dishes, what dishes are vegetarian friendly, what menu items are gluten free, and what wines are recommended for a perfect pairing with your food selections.

The exclusive, 5 course lunch menu is one price, per person, for the main dishes with pricing added for wine matchings, petit fours, cheeses, and non-alcoholic beverages. The Vasse Felix Restaurant and Wine Lounge are nestled among the picturesque vines of the winery, with a view overlooking the flowing Wilyabrup Brook, in Cowaramup, WA, the heart of Margaret River’s wine community. Dining at the Vasse Felix restaurant is an outstanding experience that is nearly impossible to duplicate since it is set amongst a magnificent scenery that only nature could create over centuries of splendid development. The facility is diner oriented for romantic getaways, family outings, small and large groups, and for special events and celebrations. Private dining areas can be reserved for groups of 12 or more. Come early and enjoy the extra attractions of the Vasse Felix cellar door and their art gallery. There is ample parking, wheelchair accommodations, and non-alcoholic beverages for the youngest members of your dining party.


Operating Hours

The restaurant is open daily from 12 Noon to 3 PM for la carte dining and their highly renowned 5 course lunch. Due to the popularity of this leisurely dining menu, reservations are highly encouraged. The wine lounge is open daily from 10AM to 5 PM, where there are no reservation requirements, for wine tastings, wine flights, charcuterie and cheese. The Vasse Felix estate is closed to the public four days of the year, Good Friday, December 13th, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Make a day of your visit to Vasse Felix with a short tour of the estate before your meal, enjoy wine tasting at the cellar door before or after your meal, or top off your meal with a wine flight in the wine lounge. Driving Directions from Forest Rise, 231 Yelverton Road:

From Forest Rise, head west on Yelverton Rd toward Hanaby Rd, then turn left onto Puzey Rd and stay to the right to merge onto Puzey Rd, turn right at Metricup Rd, then turn left onto Caves Rd, and continue a short distance to the intersection with Tom Cullity Dr. The distance is 17.3 km, and the driving time is approximately 15 minutes.

Driving Directions from Margaret River Visitor Centre, 100 Bussell Highway:

From the Visitor Centre, drive north on Bussell Highway/State Route 10 toward Churchill Ave, turn left onto Cowaramup Bay Rd, then turn right onto Caves Rd, and continue a short distance to the intersection with Tom Cullity Dr. The distance is 21.1 km, and the driving time is approximately 16 minutes.
